Macbeth, the tenth of Verdi’s 26 operas, which premiered at the Salzburg Festival in 2023 under the direction of Krzysztof Warlikowski, was released on DVD in July 2024. Philippe Jordan, who took over the production on short notice, conducts the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, with Asmik Grigorian and Vladimir Sulimsky in the title roles.
