With his stage festival “The Ring of the Nibelung”, Richard Wagner created a work that is unrivalled in more than 25 years of work. Spanning several hours over three evenings and an eve, the saga in which Wagner realised his idea of a musical drama is of an almost incomprehensible wealth of ideas and forms of expression, a true “non plus ultra” of European musical theatre.
Dmitri Tcherniakov staged the tetralogy in a cyclical context in 2022, with four premieres within just one week. This production is now returning to the stage of the State Opera, where it will be performed twice as part of the FESTTAGE, musically directed by Philippe Jordan.

You can get an insight into the entire production via the Staatsoper Unter den Linden podcast.

Single tickets can be purchased here.
